Join us for an unforgettable evening with poet and artist Patricia Feinman, author of VOICES OF THE SEA: A Dream Series. In this immersive program, part poetry reading, part gallery experience, Feinman will present selections from her newly released collection of free verse, accompanied by original illustrations and two full-sized sculptures that bring her surreal world to life.
Patricia Feinman is a writer and visual artist living in the Catskills with two rescue dogs. She began her career as a figurative sculptor—in marble, of all things—in the early ’70s, when conceptual art was at its peak. She had her first solo show at the Sutton Gallery on East Fifty-Seventh Street.
VOICES OF THE SEA, published by Querencia Press, is Patricia’s first published book. LOSING ART, a memoir, is under contract with Running Wild Press and will be available in 2026.

Advance praise for Patricia Feinman's "VOICES OF THE SEA"
"… With the deceptive simplicity of a tone poem, the art and words merge into a rhythmic tide of images of loss and longing, and that most encompassing of human traits, our search for meaning. Like the sea itself, the story is seductive, melancholy and ultimately, mesmerizing.”
—Hudson Talbott, author of A Walk in the Word
Celebrate National Poetry Month with us as Patricia Feinman presents VOICES OF THE SEA: A Dream Series, pastel and charcoal drawings combined with free verse, depicting a dark search in which dream and reality collide.
