The Experience
Spend the day learning the fundamentals of arc welding and metal fabrication in a real working shop environment. No previous experience is necessary.
Participants will explore:
- Welding safety & personal protective equipment
- The differences between Stick, MIG, and TIG welding
- Machine settings and welding applications
- Hands-on welding practice
- Tools and materials used in fabrication
Participants with prior experience can further develop their skills through guided instruction and real-world fabrication techniques.
To finish the day, you’ll create your own welded metal art piece to take home.
Meet the Instructor
Jesse Novak
Owner of Bones Welding Inc.
Jesse Novak has more than 20 years of welding and fabrication experience ranging from ornamental metalwork to structural steel and heavy equipment maintenance.

This full-day experience will be scheduled around both the winner’s and Bones Welding’s availability, most likely on a Saturday during Summer 2026.

- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- Lunch Included
- End Time: Around 3:00 PM
Bring a Friend Option
The winner may bring 1–2 additional guests for a one-time donation of $250 per additional person to the Main Street Community Center.

- Winner need not be present to win
- No prior welding experience required
- Safety equipment and instruction provided
- Experience date arranged directly with Bones Welding Inc. after the raffle concludes
