This hands-on program will guide participants through the foundational techniques of working with fibers, including weaving, knitting, and embroidery. Whether you’re new to fiber art or looking to refine your skills, this class provides the perfect opportunity to explore texture, design, and creativity using yarns, threads, and fabrics. Unleash your artistic potential while learning the traditional methods of fiber artistry!

This October, Science Frontiers dives into the mysteries of the Fall Equinox! Students will discover the science behind the changing seasons, investigate why leaves transform with the arrival of autumn, and learn how the tilt of the Earth brings about the fall equinox. Through hands-on experiments and interactive lessons, students will gain a deeper understanding of the natural cycles that shape our world. Join us for an exciting journey into the science of the season!

Get ready to build, create, and innovate! Join us at the Main Street Community Center for Jr. Engineers, a LEGO Education program happening every Friday this fall. This hands-on class uses playful, narrative-based problem-solving to guide young students toward becoming independent STEAM thinkers. Each lesson is centered around relatable themes that spark creativity, encouraging students to brainstorm and experiment with different solutions through trial and error. Collaboration with peers is key as they work together to overcome challenges and bring their ideas to life, one brick at a time.

Early dismissal at WAJ means party time at the Main Street Community Center.
