Join us at the Main Street Community Center for Maker Monday, a hands-on creative adventure designed to ease kids back into an artistic mindset. Held every Monday throughout September, this program encourages young creators in grades PreK-4 to dive into a variety of mediums, explore textures, and embrace the fun of messy art! From paint to clay and everything in between, this class is perfect for young artists who want to get their hands dirty while learning about different materials. Maker Monday is also a great introduction to our upcoming Art Odyssey class, helping students build confidence and curiosity in a playful, engaging environment.

Calling all young crafters with a passion for making a difference! Join us at the Main Street Community Center for Craftivism, an after-school program running on Tuesdays this fall. This class is perfect for students in grades 4-6 who want to use their creativity to spread kindness and positivity throughout our community. Each month brings a new theme focused on adding to the greater good. From sewing and papier-mâché to macramé and more, participants will explore different mediums while creating meaningful, impactful projects. Come craft with a purpose and make your mark on the world, one creation at a time.

This September, young explorers will step back in time to become "Dinosaur Investigators." Students will dive into the fascinating world of dinosaurs, learning when they roamed the earth, what they ate, and how different species adapted to their environments. The program includes an exciting archaeological dig where students will search for bones and work together to assemble a dinosaur skeleton. This hands-on adventure is perfect for budding paleontologists and curious minds alike!

Get ready to build, create, and innovate! Join us at the Main Street Community Center for Jr. Engineers, a LEGO Education program happening every Friday this fall. This hands-on class uses playful, narrative-based problem-solving to guide young students toward becoming independent STEAM thinkers. Each lesson is centered around relatable themes that spark creativity, encouraging students to brainstorm and experiment with different solutions through trial and error. Collaboration with peers is key as they work together to overcome challenges and bring their ideas to life, one brick at a time.

Art Odyssey: The Nature In Our Watershed
Spring has sprung! Join us for this art-intensive program focusing on all things outdoors. Participants utilized a variety of techniques to create individual and group artwork, which was submitted to the 'Flowing Impressions' art exhibition, which took place to celebrate Schoharie Watershed Month
