Step into the world of the masters! In this fun and inspiring camp, young artists will explore the works of Thomas Cole, Francis Driscoll, and Frederick Church. Campers will learn about each artist’s style and legacy, try their hand at recreating iconic works, and use those techniques to create their own original masterpiece.
In between painting and creating, kids will enjoy classic summer camp fun, ike lanyard making, outdoor games, and time to play in our safe outdoor space. It’s the perfect mix of art history, hands-on creativity, and summer adventure!

Our Creative Art Day Camp is back and better than ever! Each day we will focus on a different master artist, viewing examples of the artist’s work and imagining what they may have thought, felt and experienced as they created their art. Then, the children get a chance to create their very own masterpiece using the same methods and materials as the masters of the day through painting, mosaics, ceramics, felting and more!
Children will also get a chance to participate in traditional summer camp activities like water balloons, tug-o-war, friendship bracelets, and ping pong!
We Have offered this art camp for two consecutive years
This program has been made possible by the Wayne C. Speenburgh Greene County Legislature Grant. We'd like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Greene County Legislature, especially our local Legislator Jim Thorington. Through this grant, scholarships are available to all Greene County residents.
Woodstock Week: August 8th - August 13th.
Last year we offered various programs from 8/8 - 8/13 to celebrate Woodstock. From tie dye to retro craft to art workshops and much more!
